Boarding
Northstar's boarding commitment is to provide a fun, safe and clean environment for pets to stay while the family's away. You can vacation with peace of mind because our boarding facility is under veterinarian supervision, and our kennel team is trained to determine signs of distress and/or illness. Our kennel is climate controlled and follows a thorough sanitation protocol.
Canine guests will romp off lead in our 60x70 foot fenced play yard, a minimum of three times per day. They will enjoy one on one attention, treats and play. Pet beds are provided fresh every morning, with a new dish of water and fed Royal Canin Lowfat Diet. You may alternatively bring your pet's own bed, diet or personal items from home. *Small exotic pets are also welcomed and will receive the same compassion from our kennel team as all guests do. As a show of our appreciation, we offer a courtesy bath for all of our canine guests who stay for five or more nights.
Requirements: Northstar medical record must be up to date for admittance. Please have all records faxed and updated prior to date of check in. Dogs require a Current annual exam, Rabies, DAPP, Bordetella, and an Intestinal Parasite Exam. Medical Boarding for Cats require a Current annual exam, Rabies, FVRCP, and an Intestinal Parasite Exam. Intestinal Parasite Exams are required once per year with proof of monthly preventative; dogs who do not receive monthly parasite prevention, must have an intestinal parasite exam every four months. All pets must be parasite free. If there is evidence of fleas, your pet will be treated with a safe oral medication to kill fleas. If intestinal parasites are discovered upon examination, your pet will be de-wormed. Tests, exams and treatments are additional to boarding expense.
All inoculations and parasite prevention are protective measures that must be taken to keep our kennel and its guests safe and healthy.
Daily boarding rates:
- Charged full day regardless of time at check in.
- No charge for day of check out if discharge occurs prior to 11am. 11am check out is not available on Sundays.

Cancelled reservations are non-consequential if made more than or equal to 72 hours prior to reservation date. Cancellations made three days or less will accrue a fee ½ of the boarding reservation's estimate to client's account. Boarding dates during holidays require credit card info for reservation.
